About this Project
This visionary project highlights Conta’s forward-thinking capabilities in macro-level urban planning and advanced architectural engineering. Commissioned to develop a comprehensive architectural and infrastructural blueprint for a new master-planned district, the objective was to design a highly resilient, tech-integrated, and zero-carbon urban center capable of supporting rapid population growth while restoring the surrounding natural ecosystem.
Conta approached this monumental task by discarding traditional zoning models in favor of a highly integrated, mixed-use "15-Minute City" framework. Our innovative blueprints utilize a smart modular layout where residential zones, commercial centers, healthcare facilities, and public spaces are connected via an extensive, subterranean transit network. This underground logistics and autonomous mass-transit grid completely removes vehicular traffic from the surface, dedicating the ground level entirely to pedestrian walkways, micro-mobility paths, and vast urban forests that act as natural carbon sinks.
The core of Conta’s blueprint lies in its cutting-edge, sustainable utility infrastructure. We engineered an interconnected smart grid matrix that combines decentralized renewable energy sources—including kinetic pavement, building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV), and waste-to-energy systems—governed by a predictive AI network. Water management is handled through a hyper-efficient "Sponge City" design, utilizing permeable structural materials, extensive bio-swales, and deep underground reservoirs to achieve 100% rainwater retention and graywater recycling. By delivering a blueprint that perfectly merges high-performance structural engineering with intelligent digital twin technology, Conta has created the definitive roadmap for the future of sustainable urban civilization.
